About

The Mandurah Group of WAWA was founded in 1986, and has been dedicated to promoting and advancing the art of woodturning ever since. We are fortunate to have a purpose-built workshop in the beautiful coastal city of Mandurah, located in the Peel region of Western Australia. Our workshop is equipped with 10 lathes, providing ample space and resources for woodturners of all skill levels to pursue their craft.

At Mandurah Woodturners, we are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive community of woodturners. We believe that everyone should have access to the resources and support they need to explore and develop their skills, regardless of their background or level of experience. Safety is also a top priority for us, and we take great care to ensure that our workshop is a safe and supportive environment for all members.

Whether you're a seasoned woodturner or just starting out, we invite you to join us at Mandurah Woodturners. Our community is built on a shared passion for woodturning, and we are dedicated to fostering a supportive and collaborative environment where everyone can learn and grow together.

As a member of the Mandurah Woodturners, you'll have access to a fully equipped workshop, as well as regular events and workshops to help you improve your skills and connect with other like-minded individuals. Our community is dedicated to inclusivity, accessibility, and safety, and we're committed to creating a supportive environment where everyone can learn and grow together.
